Questions on Using Custom "Hero Character" with Photo-to-Reality for Stylized Avatars

Hello Ready Player Me Team and Community,
We are currently evaluating Ready Player Me for a major project and are very impressed with the platform’s capabilities. We have successfully tested uploading a “Hero Character” asset via the Asset Manager, which is great.
However, we now have some critical technical questions regarding the next steps, specifically on how to use this custom asset with your photo-to-reality pipeline to achieve a specific art style.
We would be very grateful if you could provide some clarification on the following points:

  1. How to Use an Uploaded “Hero Character”?
We have successfully uploaded our custom Hero Character and can see it in the Asset Manager. What is the correct workflow to actually use it? Is it accessible via the Avatar Creator, or can it only be assigned to a user via the API?
  2. Can a “Hero Character” Be the Base for the Avatar Creator?
Our goal is to let our end-users create their personalized avatars from a selfie. Is it possible to set our uploaded “Hero Character” as the default base model within the Avatar Creator? So, when a user starts creating their avatar, they are building upon our custom model, not the default RPM models.
  3. Style Consistency: Will the Generated Face Match Our Custom Model’s Style? (Most Critical Question)
This is our biggest uncertainty. Let’s say we upload a “Hero Character” that has a very specific “American cartoon” style. When a user then uploads their photo to generate a face for this character:
Will your AI algorithm intelligently generate a new face that adapts to and matches the “American cartoon” style of our base model?
Or, will it generate a standard, realistic-style face and simply map it onto our cartoon body, which would result in a jarring style conflict (a “realistic face on a cartoon body”)?
The ability to maintain a consistent, stylized art direction is a critical requirement for our project. The answers to these questions will be crucial for our final technical decision.
Thank you in advance for your help and guidance!
