Customizing Avatars for Unique Use Cases

Hey guys…

I have recently started exploring Ready Player Me for creating avatars, and I am really impressed with how intuitive and versatile the platform is. However I was wondering if anyone has tips for customizing avatars for very specific use cases?

For example, I am looking to create an avatar that aligns with a particular character concept I have in mind a futuristic scientist with subtle cybernetic enhancements. Are there any specific tools, tricks, or external integrations you’d recommend for fine-tuning such details?

I check this: https://forum.readyplayer.me/t/any-restrictions-for-using-avatar-models-onllooker But I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this? Also, I’d love to hear about how others have used their avatars creatively in games, VR spaces, or other applications. It’d be great to exchange ideas and see what’s possible!

Thanks!

Hi @bitepeb599,

First I recommend going through the Catalog, as a partner you are free to make changes add/remove outfits from your application via Studio. This way you can make sure that only the assets that fit the game/app can be used.

If you feel like the assets we have available in the Catalog do not fit the game, you have the possibility to create your own assets. You can find instructions here: Create Custom Assets | Ready Player Me

To get access to Studio which includes the Catalog and asset uploading + gives you permission to use Ready Player Me commercially, you need to be a partner. You can fill out the partnership form here.
