Modifying an existing Ready Player Me outfit and re-uploading it as a custom outfit for our app

We’re using Ready Player Me as an avatar generator for our game demo, and I wanted to clarify something about asset usage and custom outfits.

Here’s what I’m trying to do:

  1. Create an avatar using a pre-existing Ready Player Me outfit (one of the default ones).

  2. Download the avatar’s .glb file.

  3. Open it in Blender, make small visual edits — like adjusting colors or adding our company logo to the outfit.

  4. Upload that modified outfit back to Ready Player Me as a custom asset, so we can set it as the default outfit in our app.

Since this is all within Ready Player Me’s ecosystem (download → modify → upload back), I just want to confirm:

  • Is this allowed under the current terms of use?

  • And if it is, does the same rule apply to collaboration outfits (like Matrix, Dune, Cyberpunk), or are those restricted?

Thanks in advance — I just want to make sure we’re following the proper licensing and guidelines before using this approach.
