You mean to tell me that I lost all of the avatars I had synced with VRChat? Oh sure I still have access to them on the website, but I can’t make anymore, and I can’t even download the FBX in case I want it for something else anymore?

Why is it that everyone does what Apple does and instead of innovating, you UN-ovate things?

Oh and also, I tried ReadyPlayerZero’s character creator. And, if I have to give it credit for something, is that the name is fitting. Because you added ZERO new things, if anything, you took out A LOT of customization options, like hair styles or even clothing pieces. Different colors don’t mean anything if I have less than 5 different types of clothing per section.

Can you tell me how you downloaded a player zero avatar?

You can use the api call https://models.readyplayer.me/[avatarId].glb. You can see the avatarId in the browser bar when you go to the Avatars menu in playezero.

Just type https://models.readyplayer.me/YOUR_AVATAR_ID.glb in the web browser and it will start downloading it

This is awful I had a ton of avatars created in the hub using my custom subdomain clothes but I didnt save the avatar ids now I can not access them at all and only the other random avatars show up. This is the worst change ever!!!

I found a way to get the missing avatars… in the subdomain settings make sure you click allow avatars from other applications. It works two ways and allows the avatars from your application to be seen by the other applications as well… after I checked this in settings it shows your avatars in Ready Player Me

I personally like the Hub better. Is there a way to keep the hub while letting the people who like Player Zero also keep that?

Exactly! Go ahead and add something new, I don’t care, just don’t remove the old thing.

Hello! It seems the way to download our old RPM avatars no longer works. They can only be downloaded with the avatar ID. But if I can’t access it, how do I get its ID? The long way no longer works. Thanks!

I’m disappointed in your step backwards, also the ready player me hub is glitching like mad today, this is not a good move forward.

This is silly as hell. At least give us a way to get a list of the avatar IDs for the avatars we already created. What a horrible thing to do to people.

Hi Ready Player Me Team,

I’m facing an issue where one of our avatars has suddenly disappeared from the character hub in our app. The character ID is: 6789f872438af44d8ee80279

It was working fine before, but now we’re unable to find it or access it anymore through the hub. Can someone from the team please check on this and help us recover the avatar?

Let me know if any additional information is needed.

Hello! I worked with readyplayerme last year for a small personal project and I started to work on it again now. I know there was a ‘/hub’ page where I could see all the avatars I created, but now the page no longer exists. Has the path changed, or has the functionality been removed?
Thank you in advance and apologies if the problem has been reported in the past and I didn’t see it.
