I created a guest user and selected a full body template avatar. This worked great.
Then I selected a “top” asset and equipped it like so to the above mentioned avatar:
https://api.readyplayer.me/v1/avatars/6699cef9365f0adda5015e39/equip
I got a successful 204 response.
But the issue is now when I go to https://models.readyplayer.me/6699cef9365f0adda5015e39.glb
It returns a half body avatar - and it does not even look like the asset was equipped.
What’s going on here? I expect to get a full body avatar, updated with the asset I just equipped.
This is the request you need to see full body https://api.readyplayer.me/v2/avatars/669b2d54dcf0926abf5c0e3f.glb?morphTargets=ARKit
BUT some assets that I equip don’t work. Instead, the avatar just wears the default black rpm shirt after i successfully equip. Why do some work and some don’t?
Hi there,
The Avatar you have created is a half-body Avatar. Please check that in your application settings you are using full-body Avatars instead of half-body. Try the equip with a new full-body Avatar instead.
If the assets are not available in your application, it will revert to a default outfit instead. Please go to Studio → Asset Manager and check that the Asset is available in your Application.
