Previously, I was able to upload a real picture of a person and receive a customized face in an avatar. However, this feature no longer seems to be available. Could I please get clarification on this?

The camera option has been moved to a different position a while a go, but there are still two options to take a photo or use a selfie.

The first option is when you open the Avatar Creator for the first time in the template view, it will give an option to take a photo or choose a photo.

The second option is if you are already in the Avatar modification view, you pick the top right icon and choose camera from there.
If you don’t have these options, it is possible you are contacting us from a location where the photo option has been disabled at least for now because of BIPA laws. Illinois is currently the only place where you might now have the photo option available.
