Downloading an avatar GLB with ARkit and Oculus

hi,

I been trying to download the avatar glb with ARkit and Oculus Visemes included. A few months back, the download went through with no problem. However, when i tried to download it now, the downloaded glb would not consist of any blendshape if i try to download both. Additionally, downloading either works.

I been looking at the forum and saw a similar thread and tried https://models.readyplayer.me/66473ec24c3b647e2d45ab9b.glb?morphTargets=ARKit,Oculus Visemes this link. It seems to work.

However, when downloading through RPM studio or web avatar creator, the link provided will not work with the addition of ?morphTargets=ARKit,Oculus Visemes to the end of the link.

Some links that i used.

https://models.readyplayer.me/6914240790d59869fe060314.glb?morphTargets=ARKit,Oculus Visemes

https:/models.readyplayer.me/6914212c5f9f523e50bcca5d.glb?morphTargets=ARKit,Oculus Visemes (i remove a / to make it not a link)

I notice that models that starts with 66 seems to download fine, maybe this is a clue?

Thank you for helping.

Hey @sher_yeow !

Can I just confirm you are saving the avatar? I just created a new one and it downloaded with the morphTargets correctly but I took it to the final step of the avatar creation process.

If you are just taking the avatarID without actually saving what you have created I think that results in the platform not downloading the final model for you.

If you are doing this, can you confirm which subdomain are you using? Feel free to DM me if this is not something you want shared publicly

Thanks

Hey Tom,

Thank you for getting into this. I generated the avatar and link through Ready Player Me and added ?morphTargets=ARKit,Oculus Visemes to the generated link at the end of the creation process. I just tested it seems to not consist of these blendshapes. Tested on studio webpage and result in the same outcome.

Let me know if you need any more information or if there’s a workaround or solution for it and if my process is amiss.

Thank you.

This seems similar to my post. I don’t know if that helps, but at least some one else is hitting the same problem I hit
